What NixThePitch is

NixThePitch is a matching service. We review the project scope you submit and introduce you to up to three independent contractors. The service is free for homeowners; contractors pay for access to reviewed projects.

What NixThePitch is not

We are not a party to any agreement you make with a contractor. Contractors in the network are independent businesses — not our employees, agents, or partners. Any estimate, bid, contract, schedule, workmanship, or warranty is strictly between you and the contractor you hire. We screen for active licensing and insurance at the time of vetting and track performance over time, but we do not guarantee any contractor's work, pricing, or availability, and an introduction is not an endorsement or a guarantee of outcome.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate project and contact information.
• Do your own final diligence before hiring — verify current license, insurance, and references, and get your agreement in writing.
• Use the service only for genuine projects on property you own or are authorized to improve.
• Keep your account credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Estimates

Instant estimates are informational approximations based on the answers you provide. They are not quotes, bids, or offers, and final pricing is always determined by the contractor you engage.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no false submissions, scraping, harvesting contractor or homeowner data, interfering with operation, or unlawful use. We may suspend accounts or decline submissions that violate these terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NixThePitch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for disputes between homeowners and contractors; our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Text messaging program terms

Program: NixThePitch Project Updates. If you opt in, we send text messages about your project request — confirmation that a licensed builder has reviewed your scope, your contractor matches, and follow-ups on an instant estimate. Messages are transactional and service-related; this is not a marketing-blast list.

How to join: check the consent box on our text message sign-up page, the project submission form, the repair-help request form, or the instant estimator, and provide your mobile number. The box is never pre-checked, and consent is not a condition of any purchase or of using NixThePitch — you can submit a project and be matched with contractors without ever opting in.

Message frequency: frequency varies with the stage of your project, typically 2 to 6 messages per month.

Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone service plan. NixThePitch does not charge for the messages themselves.

How to stop: reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a single confirmation and then no further messages. You can also call or text (385) 380-3887, or email operations@solbuild.net, to be removed.

Carriers: supported carriers may change without notice, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Governing law & changes
