Effective October 12, 2026
NixThePitch ("we," "us") provides builder-reviewed contractor matching. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. The short version: we use your information to review your project and introduce you to contractors — we do not sell it to lead lists.
What we collect
- Contact details — name, email, phone, and project address when you submit a project, request an estimate, apply as a contractor, or request repair help.
- Project information — the category, answers to scoping questions, budget/timeline notes, and any photos you upload.
- Account data — email and profile details if you create a homeowner account.
- Usage data — standard technical logs (browser, pages visited) used to keep the service working and secure.
How we use it
- To have a licensed builder review your project scope.
- To match your project with up to three vetted contractors and make the introduction.
- To follow up about your submission or estimate by phone, email, or text message.
- To operate homeowner and contractor accounts, and improve the service.
Text messages & mobile information
Where you actively check a consent box on one of our forms — the text message sign-up, the project submission form, the repair-help request, or the instant estimator — we may send SMS messages about your request: scope-review updates, contractor matches, and estimate follow-ups. Message frequency varies, typically 2 to 6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchase or of using NixThePitch.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This applies to your mobile number and your consent itself. It is separate from the contractor introduction described below: if you submit a project, the contractors we match you with receive your contact details so they can respond to that project — that is the service you asked for, not marketing, and it does not transfer your SMS consent to them. Contractors text or call you under their own relationship with you, and we do not sell or rent your number to anyone.
Who we share it with
- Matched contractors — this is the core of the service. When your project is matched, the contractors we introduce receive your name, contact details, project address, and project scope so they can respond meaningfully.
- Service providers — infrastructure vendors that process data on our behalf (hosting and database, email delivery, SMS delivery). They may use it only to provide those services.
- Legal — if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or unrelated lead-generation networks. Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with any third party, including the contractors we match you with.
Retention & your choices
We keep project records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time — email operations@solbuild.net or call (385) 380-3887. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link; texts support STOP, and we keep a record of each opt-in and opt-out so we can honour it.
Children
The service is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Questions? Contact us.
